Early Evening Readers Literacy Night

On Tuesday, March 8th students and parents were invited to an Early Evening Readers Literacy Event sponsored by the  EL-G Elementary School and the PTA.  Families were invited to spend time reading together and also learned about the EETchy - Expanding Expression Tool.   The EETchy tool helps expand students ability to retell stories and write about them.  Ann Ahola (Reading Specialist) and Amy Schmidt (Speech/Language Pathologist) presented information in regards to the EEtchy tool.   Students were invited to make their own EETchy tool that they could take home to use for their future writing projects.
